
Penguins Sign Minella to PTO

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed forward Chris Minella to a professional tryout agreement (PTO).
Minella, 27, has posted eight goals, four assists and 33 penalty minutes in 42 games this season for the Wheeling Nailers.
The third-year pro has appeared in 158 ECHL games with Cincinnati and Wheeling, totaling 56 points (27G-29A) and 117 PIM. Originally from Cincinnati, Minella was a four-year letterman at the University of Notre Dame.
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins battle the Adirondack Phantoms tonight at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia at 7:00PM.
