B-Sens Add Two to Roster

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that forward Jean Bourbeau and goaltender March Cheverie have been added to the roster. Both join the B-Sens from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.
Bourbeau, 29, has been signed to a professional try-out contract.
The 6-0, 200-pound forward has scored 17 goals and added 17 assists for 34 points in 52 games played with the Jackals this season.
Bourbeau spent the majority of the 2011-12 season with the Jackals where he recorded 10 goals and added 16 assists for 26 points in 49 games played. He has also appeared in one game for the Adirondack Phantoms.
In total, Bourbeau has seen action in 48 career American Hockey League games with Bridgeport and Adirondack.
Cheverie, 25, has been recalled to Binghamton for the third time this season. He made 35 saves through regulation and overtime and then stopped five of six shooters in the shootout to help the B-Sens to a 3-2 victory over the Albany Devils on Feb. 17. The win was his first as a Binghamton Senator.
In two appearances for the B-Sens, Cheverie posted a 1-1-0 record, 2.90 goals-against average and .909 save percentage. He also dressed as the B-Sens back-up goaltender for an additional nine games.
The 6-2, 185-pound Cheverie has posted a record of 11-9-1 with 2.60 goals-against average and .917 save percentage in 22 games with the Jackals this season.
The B-Sens return to action tonight as they host the Hershey Bears at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $19 for side seating and $18 for end seating.
