
Countdown to Face-Off: K-Wings at IceMen

Before the ECHL hits the holiday break, the Kalamazoo Wings will travel to the Ford Center to battle the Evansville IceMen. On the season, the K-Wings are 3-1-0-0 against the IceMen, including a record of 1-1-0-0 at the Ford Center.
A victory tonight could be the perfect early Christmas gift for the K-Wings. Winless in their last six road games (0-3-2-1) and three straight overall (0-2-1-0) Kalamazoo currently sits in fourth place in the North Division.
Right behind the K-Wings in the standings are the IceMen. Similar to Kalamazoo, Evansville would love the gift of two points under their Christmas Tree In fifth place, Evansville is just two points behind Kalamazoo and are looking to snap a four-game (0-3-0-1) winless streak.

Nearing Milestones Defenseman Sam Ftorek and forward Brett Lysak are each closing in on a personal milestone. Ftorek needs one more point to reach 600 for his career, while Lysak is one point shy of 400.
Close Calls The K-Wings have had their share of close games this season. Sixteen (5-8-2-1) of Kalamazoo's 26 games this season have been decided by a single-goal.
Snapping a Streak
Kalamazoo will head to the Ford Center tonight looking to snap a streak. The K-Wings hit the ice trying to end a season-high six-game (0-3-2-1) road winless streak.
