Cougars Acquire Ehrhardt from Moose Jaw

Prince George, BC - The Prince George Cougars have acquired 20-year-old defenceman Dallas Ehrhardt (Calgary, AB) from the Moose Jaw Warriors in exchange for 19-year-old defenceman Reid Jackson and a seventh round selection in 2013.

Ehrhardt (6'4", 210 pounds) has spent the majority of his WHL career with the Moose Jaw Warriors. In 67 games last season, Ehrhardt posted a career high in goals (4) and points (22) along with 78 penalty minutes. He also added three points in 14 playoff games this season with the Warriors. Ehrhardt started his career with the Brandon Wheat Kings, playing 12 games with them in 2009-2010.

Jackson (Weyburn, SK) played 48 games with Prince George during the 2011-2012 season, and registered three goals and 12 points in that span.
