Prince George, BC - The Prince George Cougars have selected forward Aaron Boyd (Winnipeg, MB) in the second round (43^rd overall) of the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft.
Boyd (6'0", 153 pounds) played for the Winnipeg Hawks (Bantam AAA, Division 1) last season, and scored 16 goals, and 35 points in 30 games.
Boyd is the third forward selected by the Prince George Cougars in the first two rounds of the Bantam Draft. Boyd is also the first Manitoba prospect selected by the Cougars in 2012.
