Prince George, BC - The Prince George Cougars have drafted defenceman Shane Collins (Rosetown, SK) in the third round (62nd overall) in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft.

Collins (6'0", 161 pounds) played with the West Central Wheat Kings and managed eight goals, and 34 points in 24 games this season. Collins added six points in two playoff games.

Collins is the second defenceman selected by the Cougars in the 2012 draft, and is the second Saskatchewan-born player chosen by the Cougars so far.
