Prince George Cougars News Release

Prince George, BC - The Prince George Cougars have traded the rights to 1994-born forward Jujar Khaira, a first round pick (11th overall) in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft and a third round pick in 2012 in exchange for 1994-born forward Jari Ericcson (Prince George B.C.) a first round draft pick (seventh overall) in 2012, and also a conditional fourth round pick.

This means that the Prince George Cougars will now have two of the first seven picks in this year's draft, along with two selections in the second round and two in the third round.

In Ericcson, the Cougars acquire a local forward who scored six goals and recorded 19 points in 69 games last season with Everett. Ericcson (5'11", 172 pounds) has recorded 33 career points in 129 career games in the Western Hockey League.
