Crunch Announce Roster Moves

Syracuse, NY (November 5, 2010) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have recalled center Oren Eizenman from Elmira (ECHL). In addition, the club has released right wing Shean Donovan from his professional tryout contract.

Eizenman, 25, has appeared eight games with Elmira this season and is tied for second on the Jackals and fourth in the ECHL in scoring with 11 points (3g, 8a). He has appeared in 46 career AHL games with Milwaukee, Worcester, Manitoba and San Antonio since the 2007-08 season, accumulating nine points (2g, 7a) and 10 penalty minutes. A native of Toronto, Ontario, Eizenman was signed by the Crunch to an American Hockey League contract on June 1, 2010.

Donovan, 35, appeared in 30 games with the Ottawa Senators last season, recording five points (2g, 3a) and 40 penalty minutes. A veteran of 16 professional seasons, Donovan has skated in 951 career NHL games with San Jose, Colorado, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Calgary, Boston, and Ottawa, tallying 241 points (112g, 129a) and 705 penalty minutes.

The Crunch hit the road this week with games in Springfield on Friday, November 5 and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Saturday, November 6. Syracuse's next home game is on Saturday, November 13 when they battle Hershey at 7:30 p.m. at the War Memorial at Oncenter. Season tickets for the 2010-11 season are now on sale and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473- 4444, or by stopping by the Crunch office in the War Memorial at Oncenter, located at 800 South State Street in downtown Syracuse.
