Richmond Flying Squirrels News Release
The San Francisco Giants have made the following transaction affecting the roster of Double-A Richmond prior to Wednesday's game against Reading:
1B/OF Brandon Belt promoted to Fresno (AAA) [23 + 6 DL]
The move leaves the Flying Squirrels one player shy of the Eastern League maximum of 24 active players. Six players (1B Andy D'Alessio, C Nestor Rojas, C Aaron Lowenstein, SS Brandon Crawford, OF Roger Kieschnick, RHP Michael Main) are currently on the Disabled List.
