Hickory, NC - Wednesday night's game between the Drive and Hickory Crawdads was suspended with one out in the bottom of the third inning due to inclement weather. The game will resume at 5 PM at LP Frans Stadium on Thursday, followed by a seven-inning affair to conclude the four-game series.

The Drive cracked the scoreless tie in the top of the third when Pete Hissey led off the inning with a triple to right-center field, and later scored on Mitch Dening's sacrifice fly.

Starting pitcher Mike Lee limited Hickory to a hit and a walk over 2.1 scoreless innings, while striking out three batters.

In Thursday's regularly scheduled South Atlantic League game, left-hander Fabian Williamson (9-4, 2.28 ERA) will toe the rubber for Greenville, as Hickory counters with right-hander Wilfredo Boscan (6-6, 3.14 ERA).

Greenville returns home to Fluor Field on Tuesday, August 25th for a four-game set against the Northern Division-leading Kannapolis Intimidators, affiliates of the Chicago White Sox.
