HAGERSTOWN, MD -- Ticket availability for the Hagerstown Suns' 7:05 p.m. game against the Delmarva Shorebirds on Saturday, August 29th is extremely limited, and the game is expected to sell out days in advance.

"We encourage all Suns fans who have not yet purchased a ticket to our August 29th game to do so prior to the game," Suns President and General Manager Bob Flannery said. "We do anticipate having to stop selling tickets well before we open our gates [on the 29th]."

The Suns have already sold out seven games this season, and attendance at Municipal Stadium is up 13% in 2009 compared to last season.

The Saturday, August 29th game will feature a Vernon Wells Hall of Fame Statuette Giveaway, with a bronzed likeness of the former Sun presented to the first 1,000 fans through the Municipal Stadium gates, which will open at 6:05 p.m.

Saturday's game is the fifth of a six-game homestand for the Suns, which starts Tuesday, August 25th at 7:05 p.m. and ends with a 2:05 p.m. contest on Sunday, August 30th. The homestand features a Thirsty Thursday on August 27th, with domestic drafts selling throughout the stadium for just $1.25 apiece, and Friday Night Fireworks following the game on August 28th, sponsored by 1340 WEPM.
