kron, OH- Thursday night's game between the Akron Aeros and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats was postponed due to rain. The game will be rescheduled as part of a doubleheader next week when the teams meet at Merchantsauto.com Stadium in Manchester. No other information is available at this time.
The Fisher Cats open a three-game series against the Erie SeaWolves, the Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, on Friday night with a 7:05pm game at Uht Park. New Hampshire left-hander Marc Rzepczynski (6-5, 3.45) is slated to start the opener against Erie right-hander Pat Stanley (0-1, 4.96). Radio coverage begins at 6:45pm with the BayRing Pre-Game Show on the WGIR Fisher Cats Radio Network with Mike Murphy.
The Fisher Cats return to Merchantsauto.com Stadium on Tuesday, June 16, to open a four-game series against the Akron Aeros, Double-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, at 7:05pm. There will be a pre-game parade to honor students who participated in the CCSNH Fisher Cats Reading Challenge, and it's Fungo's Birthday.
