San Antonio Rampage News Release

THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Thursday, Dec. 4 vs. Syracuse @ AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.

The Syracuse Crunch jumpstart the month of December with six straight home games and eight of nine. The top affiliate for the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, Syracuse and San Antonio have met eight times in Rampage history. San Antonio holds a 5-3 advantage including a 2-0 sweep last season. Out of the Western Confer- ence's North Division, this is the only visit Syracuse will make this season.

Friday & Sunday, Dec. 5 & 7 vs. Manitoba @ AT&T Center, 7 p.m. & 5 p.m.

The Manitoba Moose continue the Rampage homestand with games Friday and Sunday at the AT&T Center. Manitoba is the top affiliate for the Vancouver Canucks and make their only visit to the Alamo City this weekend. San Antonio lost back-to-back games in No- vember at their house and the Rampage look to return the favor at the AT&T Center.

SHOTS FROM THE POINT 08-09

YOUNG GUNS: Rookie forward Brett MacLean continues to lead the Ram- page in scoring. Entering the week, MacLean has scored in four of his last five games and has 14 total points, seven each on goals and assists. Fellow rookie Chad Kolarik is tied with MacLean for the team lead in goals scored and enters the week on a three game point streak.

RETURN TO SENDER: Center Garth Murray was re-assigned to San Antonio after an eight game stint with the NHL's Phoenix Coyotes. Prior to being re- called, Murray was tied for the team lead in goals and ranked 4th in points and penalty minutes for the Rampage.

FRESH FACES: Last week San Antonio made several moves including the acquisitions of centers Oren Eizenman and Wyatt Smith. Eizenman made his presence felt by recording an assist in each of his first two games. Not to be outdone, Smith recorded an assist in his Rampage debut as well.

Ice Chips: Dylan Reese

Defenseman Dylan Reese is finding his groove. In his last nine games, Reese has tallied five assists and is tied with David Schlemko for the team lead.

The Harvard graduate and second year AHL pro has already exceeded his entire 07-08 scoring total in only 22 games played.
