Moose send Gendur to Victoria

The Manitoba Moose announced today they have assigned forward Dan Gendur to the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL.

Gendur, 21, has appeared in four games so far in this, his rookie professional season with the Moose. In four previous seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Prince George Cougars and Everett Silvertips, the Vancouver, BC native played in 200 games and scored 144 points (55-89-144) and 229 penalty minutes. In 16 post-season games in the WHL, Gendur scored 11 points (5-6-11) and 16 penalty minutes.

He was originally drafted by the Vancouver Canucks with their seventh round choice, 206th overall, in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
