AKRON, OH - The first-place Aeros return to Canal Park this week for an eight-game, seven-day homestand beginning Monday night at 7:05 p.m. The Aeros, who have won 16 of their last 18 games, take on the Bowie Baysox June 23-26, and then the Reading Phillies come into town for the weekend, June 27-29. Tuesday's start time is 6:05 p.m. as the Aeros will play two seven-inning games with the Baysox. Thursday's game has a 12:05 p.m. start, and Sunday's first pitch is at 2:05 p.m. All the other games will begin at the traditional 7:05 p.m. start time.

Fans can enjoy various promotional events during this homestand, including a rally towel giveaway Wednesday sponsored by Project Evergreen, a Fireworks Friday presented by ACME, a cooler bag giveaway from Distillata Saturday, and Orbit's Birthday Bash Sunday sponsored by ACME Bakeries.

Monday is Dollar Dog Night at Canal Park, where fans can purchase hot dogs for $1 with a limit of four per transaction.

Tuesday is Two-for-Tuesday as tickets and select concession items are buy-one, get-one at Canal Park. Fans with tickets also get two games for the price of one as Akron squares off with Bowie in the doubleheader with a 6:05 p.m. start.

Wednesday the Aeros will give away Rally Towels, sponsored by Project Evergreen, to the first 1,000 fans in the park to help cheer on the Aeros to victory. It is also Family Fun Pack Day with four tickets, four hot dogs, four bags of chips, and four sodas for just $48.

Thursday wraps up the five-game set with Bowie with a 12:05 p.m. matinee start.

Fans can enjoy a spectacular, music-synched Fireworks display on Friday night presented by ACME.

Saturday the Aeros will give away cooler bags from Distillata to the first 1,000 fans at Canal Park.

Sunday the Aeros celebrate Orbit's Birthday Bash in a game-long party with mascots visiting from all around Northeast Ohio to join in the fun at Canal Park, including Moondog from the Cleveland Cavaliers, Rudi from the Cleveland Gladiators, and Buck the ACME Dog. It is Family Fun Pack Day at Canal Park, with four tickets, four hot dogs, four bags of chips, and four sodas for $48. Kids can also run the bases after the game.

The Aeros begin their eight-game homestand Monday night at 7:05 p.m. against Bowie in a premier pitching matchup. Akron sends left-hander Scott Lewis (3-0, 1.08 ERA) to the mound against Bowie's Chris Tillman (7-2, 2.67 ERA).
