Chicago Wolves News Release

For the ninth consecutive season, the Chicago Wolves' wives will be collecting toys for the United States Marine Corps "Toys for Tots" program during the month of December.

Fans who donate a new, unwrapped toy at Wolves home games on Fri., Dec. 9; Sun., Dec. 11; Wed., Dec. 14; Sat., Dec. 17 or Fri., Dec. 23 will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win lunch with Wolves forwards Jared Ross and Karl Stewart.

"Until you've seen kids in need get toys, you don't know what living is," said Wolves Chairman of the Board Don Levin, who was honorably discharged from the Marines. During his tenure with the Marines, Levin drove the truck containing the toys at Christmas time.

Over the years, the toy drive has been highlighted by donated items such as skateboards, tennis rackets and Nintendo Game Boy systems.

The Marine Corps, social welfare agencies and local community agencies will be distributing the toys throughout December to the neediest children in the Chicago area.
