Bats Lose to Mud Hens, 8-1

August 23, 2016 - The Louisville Bats lost to the Toledo Mud Hens, 8-1. The Mud Hens had a 18 hit game to take the win. Louisville left-hander Cody Reed (6-4, 3.18) took the loss pitching six innings, allowing 10 hits, two runs, and three walks. Reed threw 93 pitches, 60 for strikes. Toledo right-hander Donn Roach (2-0, 1.00) earned the win, pitching seven innings, allowing four hits, one run, two walks, striking out seven. August 21, 2016 - Louisville, Ky.- The Bats stole the third game of a three-game series against the Indianapolis Indians at Slugger Field, 5-4. Second baseman Juan Perez hit a three-run, inside-the-park home run in the seventh inning to help Louisville earn the win. The Indians scored one run in the top of the second off a throwing error, taking the lead 1-0.
