May 1, 2016 - The Hartford Yard Goats game against the Richmond Flying Squirrels was rained out Sunday afternoon in Richmond, VA. It will be made up as part of a double-header on August 30 at 5:05 PM. The Yard Goats open up a 4-game series on Monday night at Harrisburg, PA against the Senators (Washington Nationals affiliate) at 6:30 PM. Sam Faber Re-Signs with Connecticut Whale

April 30, 2016 - Stamford, CT - Sam Faber has signed a contract with the Connecticut Whale for the 2016-17 season, General Manager Lisa Giovanelli announced Saturday. Faber and the Whale agreed to terms on a one-year, $13,000 contract. Faber played in 13 games with the Whale last season, scoring 6 points (3g, 3a). April 29, 2016 - Richmond, VA- The Hartford Yard Goats (17-4) defeated the Richmond Flying Squirrels (8-14) by the score of 4-3 in 11 innings on Friday night at The Diamond in Richmond, Virginia. The game ended on a dramatic play at the plate in the bottom of the 11th inning as David Dahl's relay throw to Pat Valaika onto catcher Ashley Graeter cut down the tying run in Tyler Horan for the final out.
