'Dads to Honor 75th Anniversary of the '51 Rocks
February 11, 2026 - Hickory, NC - The Granite Falls Graniteers may have only lasted one season, but they made history during the 1951 season. To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the team, the Crawdads will be hosting a '51 Rocks Night on Friday, June 19th.
The Crawdads will wear specialty jerseys speckled with a granite pattern and throwback double piping, reminiscent of the era. The jerseys will feature a rock number font and a '51 Rocks sleeve patch. The jerseys will be auctioned off during the game via the MiLB Auctions platform.

Cats Announce Trio Of Returnees
February 11, 2026 - Thunder Bay, Ont., - The Thunder Bay Border Cats are excited to announce their first round of player signings for the 2026 Northwoods League season. Returning under the direction of second-year manager Joe Ellison are catcher Trey Fikes, shortstop Manny Alberto, and pitcher Makaio Cisneros. Close to a dozen players, who played for the Cats in 2025, are scheduled to return for this year's campaign, which begins Monday, May 25, in Iowa against the Waterloo Bucks.

Several Former Marauders Slated to Compete in World Baseball Classic
February 11, 2026 - BRADENTON, Fla. - As Major League Baseball's Opening Day approaches, Spring Training baseball in Bradenton is right around the corner. While much of the Pittsburgh Pirates organization will operate out of Pirate City and LECOM Park this March, several players will step onto a different stage, representing their home countries in this year's World Baseball Classic.

Three Former Blue Crabs to Play in World Baseball Classic
February 10, 2026 - Waldorf, MD - With the World Baseball Classic announcing its rosters for the 2026 competition, three former Blue Crabs will represent their countries, including former pitchers Chien-Ming Wang and Nick Wells, as well as former catcher Lyle Lin.
Joining Team Chinese Taipei, Wang will be the bullpen coach, and Lin will be one of the team's catchers.
