Thunderbirds Fall to Blue Ridge, 4-2

January 17, 2025 - Winston-Salem, NC - The Carolina Thunderbirds dropped game one of a home-and-home series to the Blue Ridge Bobcats, 4-2, on Friday evening at the Fairgrounds Arena in front of 3,173 fans. Blue Ridge (15-9-3) struck early in the 1st period. Vladislav Vlasov blasted home a one-timer 5:56 into the 1st period to give the visitors a 1-0 lead. Thuderbirds Sign White, Release Chateauvert

January 16, 2025 - Winston-Salem, NC - The Carolina Thunderbirds, proud members of the FPHL, have signed Zach White for the remainder of the 2024-25 season and released forward William Chateauvert, the team announced today. White, a native of Milford, Connecticut, joined the Thunderbirds after Christmas and played in his first game with Carolina since 2021 on December 27th in Mississippi where he netted two goals and picked up an assist. Carolina Acquires Selyutin from Mississippi

January 15, 2025 - Winston-Salem, NC - The Carolina Thunderbirds, proud members of the FPHL, have traded for forward Dmitri Selyutin from the Mississippi Sea Wolves in return for future considerations and the completion of the Sam Best trade, the team announced today. Selyutin, a native of Moscow, Russia, was traded to the Sea Wolves on Saturday from the Blue Ridge Bobcats where he played in 15 games this season. Thunderbirds Make Multiple Roster Moves

January 14, 2025 - The Carolina Thunderbirds, proud members of the FPHL, have announced multiple roster moves today. Forward Roman Kraemer has returned from IR while forwards Dawson Baker and Petr Panacek have been placed on IR. Kraemer, who has missed the last eight games with a hand injury, returns from the 15-day IR and is set to play this weekend against the Blue Ridge Bobcats.
