Z's drop another late game

Mike Wilson hammered a walk off three run home run to cap another late inning rally as the Tacoma Rainiers defeated the Zephyrs 7-5 on Friday night. The Z's jumped out to an early lead with a three run home run from Lorenzo Scott. Tacoma scored two runs in the eighth with a home run for Greg Halman and then capped the rally with the two out three run bomb in the ninth. Lavale Speigner earmed the win in relief and Kasey Olenberger took the loss. It was the second consecutive blown save for Olenberger and his fourth of the season. The Rainiers scored 5 runs late on Thursday to rally for the win and did the same late on Friday.

Game Notes- The game did have a 1:29 rain delay in the second inning. The Z's have never lost a season series to Tacoma, they trail 2-0 in this series.

Coming Up: The Z's and Rainiers will meet in the third game of the series on Saturday evening at 9:00 in Tacoma. New Orleans will start LH Hunter Jones (0-2, 3.51) against LH Luke French (4-1, 1.64). RADIO: 106.1 FM WMTI.
