
Zephyrs drop one to Grizzlies

The New Orleans Zephyrs lost to the visiting Fresno Grizzlies on Thursday by a score of 4-3. The loss snaps a four-game win streak for New Orleans.
Starting pitcher Brian Cooper (2-3) picks up a win for the Grizzlies, as he threw seven innings and allowed two runs on five hits overall.
Offensively Fresno was led by right fielder Adam Nunez, who went 2-3 and drove in two runs.
Zephyrs starting pitcher David Gil (0-1) gets the loss, as Gil gave up four runs on nine hits in five innings of play.
Second baseman Brendan Harris went 2-4, scored two runs and had one RBI in the loss.
With the Zephyrs leading the series at 2-1, the teams will finish their four-game series on Friday in a 7:00 PM CT contest.
