Zack Brown Returns from Disabled List, Starts Tonight for Shuckers

BILOXI, MS - Biloxi Shuckers RHP Zack Brown has been reinstated from the disabled list and is scheduled to start on Monday night against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos at MGM Park.

Brown was placed on the disabled list after exiting his start against the Tennessee Smokies on July 22. The 23-year-old righty is the Southern League leader in ERA, spotting a miniscule 2.34 over 111.2 innings of work. A fifth-round pick of the Brewers in 2016 out of Kentucky, Brown is also second in the Southern League in WHIP (1.02) and batting average against (.203). The Shuckers have won 18 of the 19 games that Brown has pitched in this season.

In a corresponding roster move, RHP Conor Harber has been placed on the disabled list, retroactive to August 17. In his two starts with Biloxi, Harber allowed just one run in 11.2 innings while issuing just two walks and striking out 14. The Shuckers roster now sits at 25 active players with three players on the disabled list.

The Shuckers continue a five-game series with the Pensacola Blue Wahoos on Monday night with a 6:35 PM first pitch at MGM Park. On Doggone Monday, fans can purchase a $7 berm ticket and bring their pup out to the ballpark.
