IF Mike Brosseau (Oblique) Placed on 7-Day Disabled List; IF/OF Miles Mastrobuoni Transferred to Biscuits from A+ Charlotte

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Rays announced two moves on Tuesday including Biscuits IF Mike Brosseau being placed on the 7-day Disabled List, retroactive to August 19, with an oblique injury.
Brosseau sustained the injury during his most recent start on Saturday night away at the Jackson Generals. The 24-year-old has put together a fantastic season for the Biscuits, playing in 102 games and hitting .259 with 13 home runs and 57 RBIs. Brosseau was named Southern League Player of the Week last Monday.
The Rays also announced that IF/OF Miles Mastrobuoni has been promoted to the Biscuits from A+ Charlotte. Mastrobuoni, 22, played in 91 games for the Stone Crabs at the time of his first promotion to Double-A, and was hitting .289 with one home run and 31 RBis.
The Biscuits active roster is currently at 25.
