
Yunior Severino Reinstated from Injured List

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Kernels have reinstated infielder Yunior Severino from the 7-day injured list. With the addition of Severino, the Kernels active roster now stands at 30 players.
Severino was placed on the injured list on April 12 with a left thumb contusion after being struck by a pitch in his first plate appearance of 2022. The switch-hitting infielder slashed 321/.414/.493 for a .907 OPS with 12 doubles, three home runs and 17 RBI last season in 35 games with Cedar Rapids.
