MEMPHIS, TN - The Memphis Redbirds continued a six-game homestand with a 10-0 win over the Norfolk Tides at AutoZone Park on Wednesday night.

First baseman Juan Yepez drilled his sixth and seventh Triple-A home runs of the season in the first two innings. The three-run homers helped Memphis jump out to a 9-0 lead after two innings. Yepez now has 41 RBI with the Redbirds this season.

The pitching staff picked up right where it left off, tossing a second straight shutout. Gordon Graceffo (4-2) pitched 5.0 innings, allowed two hits, walked three and struck out six batters. Connor Thomas (S, 1) faced the minimum in 4.0 innings out of the bullpen and struck out four. The lone baserunner allowed by Thomas, a single in the eighth, was erased by a double play.

Catcher Ivan Herrera recorded a two-hit game and drove in a pair of runs. Center fielder Richie Palacios reached base four times in a 2-for-3 night with two walks, two runs scored and an RBI.

The Redbirds (58-58) return to AutoZone Park on Thursday, August 17 to continue a six-game homestand at 6:45p.m. CDT against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp.
