Xplosion Extend Streak With Win Over Colonels

Louisville, KY. The visiting Pittsburgh Xplosion defeated the Kentucky Colonels 113-112 to extend their winning streak to seven games. Coleco Buie led the Xplosion with 50 points and Janerio Spurlock added 15 points as Pittsburgh improved its ABA record to 12-7.

Dan Artest, the brother of Indiana Pacer, Ron Artest, led the Colonels with 27 points while Donnie Jackson, the brother of Indiana Pacer, Stephen Jackson, added 17 points and 8 rebounds.

The Xplosion return home for their biggest game of the season when they face the league leading Indiana Alley Cats on Tuesday, Jan 17th at Mellon Arena at 7pm. The Xplosion are in second place in the division behind Indiana, fresh off a defeat at the hands of the Tim Hardaway led Florida Pit Bulls.
