Vision wins sixth in a row

ATLANTA, GA - January 18, 2006-Atlanta Vision is attracting much attention around the league and local community as they continue to win on the road and in front of their home crowd. The Vision is currently in second place in the American Basketball Association's Barnes/Malone Division and #14 in the ABA Power Rankings. Dennis Scott, Vision General Manager, and Quentin Townsend, Vision Owner, made several modifications to the roster to create the right team chemistry for the Vision. These new changes have proven to be successful for this young team as they captured their 6th win in overtime against Mississippi during the MLK weekend. " We want guys who are willing to play the game of basketball the right way," stated Scott, 'Raw talent and athleticism are not enough. Our players have to study the game and be a professional on and off the court."

The Vision prepare for the Birmingham Magicians at home at the Samson's Center this Saturday, January 21st at 7:35pm. On February 3rd and 4th, the Vision will also host Tim Hardaway and the #1 Florida Pit Bulls for an exciting re-match of these two defensive teams. Leading scorers for the Vision are power forward Cedric McGinnis from Georgia Southern and guard Kendrick Jones from Columbus State University. Rebounds are handled by Lithonia native, Emanuel Jackson and above the rim excitement is provided by Atlanta's And 1 Streetball Superstar, Robert '50" Martin. Newcomers to the roster include Atiba Prater, Trenton Eager, and Kellen 'HIGH %" Miliner. 'We are ready to take care of business and compete with any team," adds North Carolina native and University of Tennessee graduate, Coach Kevin Whitted. 'We must keep our focus to win in the play-offs."

Atlanta Vision continues to entertain the fans in attendance with a number of promotions, as well as entertainment from the Atlanta Vision Dance Team making each night fun for the entire family. Don't miss 'First Friday Night" on February 3rd and 'Brand Atlanta Night" on February 4th, where fans are encouraged to wear paraphernalia from any of their favorite Atlanta sports teams - Hawks, Braves, Falcons, Thrashers, and the Vision to qualify for great prizes. Other promotional nights include 'College and Greek Night" on February 18th at 5:35pm, 'Gospel Night" on February 19th at 3:35pm, and 'DeKalb Community Night' on February 24th at 7:35pm. The organization will celebrate their last home game of the season on February 25th during 'Atlanta Vision Fan Appreciation Night."

Fans are encouraged to come early and see why the Vision was recently named 'Atlanta's Best Value in Sports Entertainment."
