Tycoons All-Star to play in Finland

Dallas, TX. ABA Texas Tycoons star, Chris Davis, has accepted a contract to play in Finland. Davis, Tycoons' captain, led the team to the playoffs during their first season of play. Davis was also chosen to represent the Tycoons in the 2004-2005 ABA All Star Game in Las Vegas.

"Although our organization made the decision to suspend play this season and to return next season with an expanded division that will include several new Texas and Louisiana teams, we are very excited for Chris; he is an exceptional player and person. We wish him the best as he moves forward with his career in Finland," stated Larissa Doty, Tycoons' spokesperson.

Davis is going to play for Team Componenta in Karkkila, Finland. Currently the team is in the Finnish 1st Division in first place with a record of 14-2. The team is looking for Davis to solidify an already solid team as they make a run at the 1st Division Championship and a move up to the Korisliiga, which is the top division in Finland, http://www.teamcomponenta.com/
