Traverse City Beach Bums News Release


Wuerfel Park will be a state-of-the-art multi-use entertainment facility will featuring 3,518 permanent chair back seats, a corporate deck, private table deck and an expanded general admission grass berm seating area that encompasses the entire outfield. A 8' asphalt walkway will border the outfield berm areas and allow fans to walk 360 degrees around the park. The stadium includes a recessed playing field, 27 luxury suites, dugouts, bullpens, a home & visitors clubhouse and indoor practice facility. The team business offices will occupy the second floor of the clubhouse. Construction is right on time, with buildings scheduled to be completed October 2005. Work on the playing field will start in July, 2005. The Traverse City Beach Bums will play their first game May, 2006
