
RiverHawks sign all-MAC outfielder Busch

ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford RiverHawks brought a local product onto the roster today.
The RiverHawks announced the signing of outfielder Jeremy Busch, a former Northern Illinois player. The 23-year-old Genoa resident has no prior professional experience.
Busch was named a first-team Mid-American Conference outfielder. Busch, a leadoff hitter, batted .340 with nine home runs and 39 RBI for the Huskies.
The RiverHawks are the defending champions of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 13th season. All games are broadcasted live on WRHL-FM, 102.3 - the Hub.
