Wranglers Receive Four from San Antonio

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers(r) announced today that the San Antonio Rampage have assigned Tyler Mosienko, Ned Lukacevic, Justin Bernhardt and Jamie Bates to the team. The Wranglers also announced that forward Jovan Matic has been released (PTO).

Lukacevic and Bernhardt both spent time with the Wranglers in the 2009-10 season. Lukacevic, 24, appeared in 61 regular season games for Las Vegas last year, tallying 65 points for second overall in scoring. The 6-0, 200-pound left wing also spent time with both Providence and Texas of the AHL. Bernhardt, 22, appeared in 29 games with the Wranglers last season, earning 11 points. When not in Las Vegas, the 6-1, 181-pound center was with the San Antonio Rampage, where he skated in 14 games.

Mosienko, a native of West St. Paul, Manitoba, returns to Las Vegas after spending the 2009-10 season in Germany. The 26-year-old appeared in 50 regular season games and contributed 48 points in the 2008-09 season, his last with the Wranglers. While in Germany last year, Mosienko skate in 56 games with the Nuremberg Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers, earning 19 points.

Bates, 25, is a new addition to the Wranglers after spending the 2009-10 season with the Stockton Thunder. The 6-3, 195-pound forward appeared in 60 regular season games with the Thunder last year, scoring 27 goals and adding 46 assists for a total of 73 points. His 73 points made him eighth in the league in scoring. Bates, a native of Toronto, Ontario, also skated in six games with the Springfield Falcons of the AHL.

Jovan Matic, 24, was released by the Wranglers Sunday.

The Las Vegas Wranglers(r) are the ECHL affiliate to the National Hockey League's Phoenix Coyotes and the American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage.

The Wranglers host Opening Night on Friday, October 22nd, 2010 at 7:05 pm against Victoria. 2010-11 season seat packages are on sale now at (702) 471-PUCK. The Wranglers play all 36 regular season home games at the Orleans Arena, located adjacent to the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue.
