ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades prepare for their 13th season in the ECHL with training camp hitting full stride this week. The Everblades will have two pre-season contests this upcoming weekend and will also play a charity alumni game as preparation for the regular season opener on October 15.

THIS WEEK (All Times Eastern)

Tuesday, October 5 vs. Everblades Alumni Game 7:30 p.m.

GAME NOTES: The Everblades are holding a charity alumni game on Tuesday night at Germain Arena. The game is being played to help raise money for the Piper Buckley Foundation which donates to the Lee Memorial Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Piper Buckley, the daughter of former Everblade Tom Buckley, tragically passed away last December at the age of three. The game will feature 14 past Everblade players including Buckley, Reggie Berg, Marc Magliarditi, Keith Anderson, Brent McDonald and more taking on the current Everblades squad in two 20 minute periods. Tickets for the event are $10 and all the proceeds from the ticket sales will go to the Lee Memorial NICU. Following the game the alumni player jerseys will be auctioned off live to also raise money! Tickets are available at the TIB Bank Box Office at Germain Arena.

Friday & Saturday, October 8 & 9 vs. Greenville Road Warriors Friday: 7:30 p.m., Saturday: 7:00 p.m.

GAME NOTES: The Everblades play two warm-up games for the regular season this weekend when they host the newest ECHL team, the Greenville Road Warriors. The Road Warriors bring hockey back to Greenville, SC for the first time since 2006 after relocating from Johnstown, PA following last season. The Everblades and Road Warriors will meet a total of 15 times during the regular season including eight at Germain Arena.

Training Camp Roster Grows: Heading into today's second full day of on-ice practices, the Everblades training camp roster expanded. With the American Hockey League teams beginning to trim rosters, the Everblades saw the addition of nine players. Forwards Shea Guthrie, Alexandre Imbeault, Francis Lemieux, Vladimir Nikiforov, and Brennan Sarazin have joined the club along with defensemen Mitch McColm, Bobby Raymond, Mike Egener and Phil Paquet.

Game Time Reminder!: New for this season the Everblades have changed their game start time for Saturday night games. The new start time on Saturday's will be 7:00 p.m. All other home games Monday - Friday will begin at the usual time of 7:30 p.m. The one Sunday home games the Everblades have on March 13 will begin at 5:00 p.m.

Regular Season Opener!: The Everblades open their 13th season of play in the ECHL at Germain Arena on Friday and Saturday, October 15 & 16 when they host division rival Gwinnett for a pair of games! The Everblades roll into the 2010-11 season with an all-time record of 505-265-89. In season opening games, the Everblades are 8-3-1 all-time.

Ticket Information: Everblades 2010-11 season ticket packages, group tickets and individual game tickets are on sale now! Fans can purchase tickets at the TIB Bank Box Office at Germain Arena, which is open from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
