
Wranglers Add Defenseman Bonni

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that the team has signed defenseman Ryan Bonni for the 2006-07 season.
Bonni brings a wealth of experience with him as he enters his seventh professional season. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound defenseman was selected by the Vancouver Canucks in the second round (#34 overall) of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. Bonni played three games with the Canucks during the 1999-2000 NHL season. In 410 career games, the Winnipeg, MB native has scored 21 goals and added 75 assists for 96 points. The rugged defenseman also has 835 career penalty minutes. Bonni has played 61 games in the ECHL, scoring four goals and dishing out 25 assists for 29 points, to go along with 177 penalty minutes. Bonni is expected to make his Wranglers debut tonight at the Orleans Arena.
Tonight, Las Vegas will host the Victoria Salmon Kings for their first home game of the 2006-07 season. As part of Opening Night, the Wranglers will hand out magnetic schedules to every fan that walks through the gates of the Orleans Arena, compliments of Integrity Chrysler Jeep Dodge, the official and exclusive car dealer of the Las Vegas Wranglers. Saturday night, the Wranglers host the Salmon Kings at 7:05 pm.
The Wranglers play all 36 home games at the Orleans Arena, located at the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue.
