Texas Legends News Release

Frisco, TX FEB. 20, 2012 - The Texas Legends are proud to announce that Booker Woodfox has been selected to participate in the NBA Development League Dream Factory 3-Point Competition presented by Haier.

Woodfox is third in the league in 3-point field goal percentage making 68 of 141 attempts for 48.2% on the season.

"Watching Booker shoot in practice is just memorizing," said Head Coach Del Harris. "The consistency of his form is really impressive. I can see Booker winning many of these competitions in his career."

Woodfox is the reigning 3-point champion and will attempt to win back-to-back trophies, but competition will be stiff.

Blake Ahearn, of the Reno Bighorns, is the 2009 3-point champion and currently leads the NBA Development League in scoring at 24.1 points per game. Ahearn has connected on 91 of 227 (40.1%) attempts on the season. Moses Ehambe of the Iowa Energy and Lee Humphrey of the Rio Grande Valley Vipers will challenge the former champions. Ehambe is the only small forward to compete and registers at 43.1% from beyond the arc. Lee Humphrey has 101 3-point makes on the season at the rate of 42.3%.

The competition has two rounds, and features a moveable "Money Rack" where each ball is worth three points. The two best scores will advance to the championship. The Dream Factory 3-Point Competition will take place at the conclusion of the NBA D-League All-Star Game and will be streamed live on NBA.com/Futurecast.
