Wizards Win Fourth in a Row

Bismarck, N.D. (Feb. 20, 2012) - Dakota led from start to finish as they downed rival Sioux Falls on Monday night, 117-98. Stefhon Hannah continued his hot shooting as of late connecting on 11 of his 16 shots on his way to a game high 26 points. Hannah also grabbed 5 rebounds and dished out 6 assists on the night for the Wizards.

Sioux Falls stumbled out of the gate and the Wizards took full advantage of the Skyforce's poor shooting taking a 28-15 lead after the first quarter. Both teams had a sloppy start but the home team was able to overcome their turnovers to jump out to the early lead. Edwin Ubilies had a hot start of his own scoring 18 of his 22 points in the first half. The Wizards were able to push their lead to as many as 16 in the second on a Shy Ely jump shot. The two teams headed to the locker room with Dakota holding a 54-42 advantage over Sioux Falls.

Not much changed in the second half as Dakota never let the Skyforce get within 9 points and pushed their lead to as many as 23 early in the fourth. Mike Anderson dominated the second half for the Wizards with high flying dunks as he scored 23 of his 24 points in the final two frames.

To round out Wizards players in double figures was Marcus Dove with 17 points and 11 rebounds and Shy Ely with 12 points

Sioux Falls was led by Trey Gilder with a team high 20 points. Anthony Mason Jr. chipped in 19 points in the loss.

Dakota improves to 17-14 on the season. With the loss, Sioux Falls drops to 9-25.
