BRIAN SWANSON: Registered 11 points (2G, 9A) in his last eight games, which includes two assists on Saturday ... Missed nine of the last 17 games due to injury and recall to Atlanta ... Shares third on the club with 22 assists and 32 points in 47 games
KURTIS FOSTER: Shares first among AHL defensemen with seven power-play markers and shares third with nine goals ... Notched an assist on Saturday, his first point in six games
SHAWN HEINS: Posted five points (2G, 3A) in his last eight games, after tallying just two assists in his previous eight contests ... Ranks second among Wolves defensemen with seven goals and 16 assists, and ranks third among team blueliners with 23 points in 47 games with the Wolves
WOLF TRACKS
--The Wolves registered a season-high six goals on Saturday; Chicago ranks
third in the league with an average of 2.95 goals per game.
--Chicago has recorded 10 goals in the last three games after notching just
five in the previous three contests.
--The Wolves tallied two power-play goals on Saturday after being held
scoreless on the man advantage in each of their previous five games  the
team's longest stretch without a power-play tally this season.
--Chicago has earned points in 12 of its last 14 home games (10-2-2-0); the
Wolves rank third in the West Division with 15 home wins this year and have
played the fewest home games in the league this season (25).
IN THE FIRST PLACE
The Wolves notched three goals in the first period on Sunday, the first time since Feb. 7 the team tallied multiple goals in the first frame; Chicago has posted 59 goals in the beginning stanza, the most by any AHL team.
NOTABLE
On Tue., Feb. 24, Wolves left wing Karl Stewart will visit the Hodgkins Public Library, 6500 Wenz, at 4:30 p.m., and the Thomas Ford Memorial Library, 800 Chestnut, at 7 p.m., as part of the team's "Read to Succeed" program, which has reached nearly 300,000 children in nine seasons. The program, sponsored by Fisher Nuts, encourages kids to spend more time reading at the library and for recreation.
