--The Wolves overcame a two-goal third-period deficit to defeat the Houston
Aeros, 3-2, in overtime at the Allstate Arena
--Left wing BRAD LARSEN netted all three of Chicago's goals, while left wing
STEVE MALTAIS and defenseman GREG HAWGOOD each chipped in two assists
--Netminder KARI LEHTONEN turned aside 23 of 25 shots

... Paces the Wolves with 18 goals and shares the team lead with
nine-power-play tallies ... Registered a five-game goal streak (Jan. 23 -

team's 19 goals spanning the last seven games ... Shares sixth on the club
with 29 points in 45 games
--DEREK MacKENZIE: Posted a short-handed goal on Friday to become the Wolves
franchise leader with 13 career shorties ... Tied for the league lead with
four short-handed markers ... Tallied nine goals and 20 points in 49 games
after recording a career-high 19 markers and 35 points in 63 games last
season
--TOMMI SANTALA: Notched two goals in his last eight games after registering
three in his previous 29 ... Tallied 14 assists and 19 points in 37 games
after posting 22 helpers and 37 points in 50 games last year
--STEVE MALTAIS: Recorded a five-game assist streak (Jan. 23 - Feb. 2) ...
Held to just one goal in his last 19 games after totaling 12 in his

--KARI LEHTONEN: Shares third in the league with 23 wins in 39 appearances
... Ranks second in the AHL with 2,338:20 minutes played and 1,163 saves ...

--J.P. VIGIER: Held without a point in five consecutive games  his longest
scoreless streak of the season  and recorded a +1 plus/minus rating during
that span ... Leads the Wolves with 43 points and a +17 plus/minus rating in
50 games ... Shares second on the club with 17 goals and ranks third with 26
assists
--TRAVIS ROCHE: Tallied an assist on Saturday, his fourth helper in six
games ... Tied for fifth among AHL defensemen with nine goals and 31 points
in 46 games
WOLF TRACKS
--Saturday's game marked the Wolves first regulation loss when allowing just
two goals; the team has held its rivals to two or fewer in five of its last
seven games.
--Chicago has surrendered two or fewer markers 27 times this season
(24-1-1-1).
--The Wolves will play six of their next eight games on home ice; the team
has posted a 15-6-3-0 mark (.688) at home this year.
--Chicago has notched all seven of its short-handed goals on home ice, which
is tied for the most in the AHL; overall, the Wolves share fifth in the
league with seven shorties.
ONE BY ONE
Each of the Wolves last four games have been decided by just one goal. Chicago has played 23 one-goal games this season (11-7-4-1) after participating in just 24 last year (13-8-0-3).
NOTABLE
The Wolves' wives will be selling Valentine's Day autographed pucks during home games on Wed., Feb. 9; Fri., Feb. 11; and Sat., Feb. 12. The specially wrapped pucks, which hold candy and the autograph of a surprise Wolves player, can be purchased for $10. Fans who buy a puck that has the Wolves player's name signed in gold will have the chance to meet that player after the game.
