MORAN SECOND TO 200 POINTS AND THIRD TO 300 GAMES: Center Brad Moran became the second player in Crunch history to record 200 points (Lonny Bohonos â 230) on February 3, assisting on Mark Hartigan's goal. That same night, Moran became the third player in franchise history to appear in 300 games (Mark Wotton â 310, Jeremy Reich â 303). A native of Abbotsford, British Columbia , Moran has appeared in 48 games this season, tallying 14 goals, 19 assists and 40 penalty minutes. He was signed as a free agent by Columbus on June 5, 2000.
TRATTNIG TO REPRESENT COUNTRY: Right wing Matthias Trattnig will leave the Crunch this week to represent Austria as it hosts one of the three qualification tournaments for the 2006 Winter Games in Klagenfurt from February 10 â 13. While at the tournament, Trattnig will miss three Syracuse games (February 9, 11 and 12). A native of Graz, Austria, Trattnig has appeared in 43 games with the Crunch this season, recording 2 goals, 4 assists and 37 penalty minutes. Originally drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the fourth round, 94th overall, in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft, Trattnig signed as a free agent with Columbus on July 7,2 004.
LIBBY AND KOROVKIN RELEASED FROM P.T.O.'s: The Crunch announced today that they have released defensemen Matt Libby and Nikita Korovkin from their professional try-out contracts. Both players appeared in two games with the Crunch on their most recent road trip, recording four penalty minutes a piece.
WEST DIVISION STRUGGLES CONTINUES: Syracuse will host three games against West Division teams this week (San Antonio and Cincinnati), still looking for their first win against the division. Syracuse is 0-5-1-0 in six tries against teams from the West Division.
THIS WEEK'S OPPONENTS:
SAN ANTONIO (FLORIDA PANTHERS): Syracuse returns to the War Memorial at Oncenter on Wednesday, February 9 to host San Antonio for the second and final regular season meeting between the teams this season. San Antonio leads the series 1-0, after San Antonio shutout Syracuse 5-0 in their last meeting on November 5 at SBC Center. Center Greg Jacina (2g, 1a) leads all players with three points in head-to-head scoring. Karl Goehring appeared in net for Syracuse, recording 30 saves. Travis Scott was between the pipes for the Rampage, recording 38 saves. Lifetime, the Crunch are 1-2-0 against the Rampage.
CINCINNATI (MIGHTY DUCKS OF ANAHEIM): Syracuse hosts Cincinnati on Friday, February 11 and Saturday, February 12 for the third and fourth of four regular season meetings between the teams this season. Cincinnati leads the series 2-0, after defeating Syracuse 2-1 in overtime on February 5. Defenseman Kurtis Foster (2g, 1a) and left wing Michael Holmqvist (3a) lead all players in head-to-head scoring with three points. Centers Mark Hartigan (1g, 1a) and Brad Moran (1g, 1a) lead the Crunch with two points in head-to-head scoring. Karl Goehring (3.03 gaa, .897 save percentage) and Andrew Penner (1.91 gaa and .938 save percentage) split time in net. Former Crunch player Frederic Cassivi has appeared in both games for Cincinnati, posting a 2-0-0 record, a 1.47 gaa and .951 save percentage. Lifetime, the Crunch are 10-22-4 against the Might Ducks.

Bob Evans Dinner with the Crunch Set For February 8: The Syracuse Crunch announced that Crunch players Francois Beauchemin, Andre Lakos, Prestin Ryan and Ole-Kristian Tollefsen will appear at Bob Evans on Tuesday, February 8 from 6 â 7 p.m. in Cortland for this seasons' final Bob Evans Dinner with the Crunch.
For $10 fans will receive a Spaghetti dinner with salad, garlic bread, small ice cream sundae and a Crunch ticket voucher. To order your tickets call the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444 ext. 138.

Labatt's Dollar Beer Night Returns February 9: The Syracuse Crunch, along with Onondaga Beverage and Labatt's, announced that their popular Labatt's Dollar Beer Night will return on February 9 when they host the San Antonio Rampage.
Labatt's draft beer and Coca-Cola soda products on February 9 will cost one dollar at all Oncenter concession stands.

Crunch Players To Sign Autographs at Bradley's Jewelers on February 10: The Syracuse Crunch announced that Crunch players Karl Goehring, Zenith Komarniski, Pascal Leclaire and Jeff Panzer will be at Bradley's Jewelers on Thursday, February 10 from 4-5 p.m. to sign autographs. Bradley's Jewelers is located at 304 First Street, Liverpool. Please call 471-4822 for directions.
Friday, February 11:
Third Annual Bradley's Jeweler Valentine's Day Giveaway Set For February 11: The Syracuse Crunch announced that Bradley's Jewelers will be giving away a 14K gold heart design ring with a ¼ ct. diamond as part of the Third Annual Valentine's Day Giveaway at the Friday, February 11 game against Cincinnati.
The first 2,000 fans (18 and over) in attendance will receive a ticket for a chance to win one of 10 prizes.

Crunch To Hold âTwins Night at the Crunch' -- Twins Will Get in Free on February 11: The Syracuse Crunch announced that the Crunch's Friday, February 11 game against Cincinnati will be Twins Night at the Crunch.
Any twins that come to the Crunch's game on Friday, February 11 will receive a free ticket to the game. (Both twins must be present with photo identification.) Twins can receive their free ticket by coming to the Crunch office prior to the game or to the Oncenter box office on the day of the game.
In addition, all twins that attend that night's game will have a chance to win a prize pack that includes a chance to meet Crunch players Chris and Peter Ferraro after the game, two (2) $20 gift certificates to Twin Trees Too, two (2) Twins DVD's, two (2) Thompson Twins CD's and two (2) cases of Doublemint gum. Twins can sign-up to meet the Ferraro brothers at the Advance Auto Parts Guest Service Center prior to the third period (both twins must be present to sign-up.) During the third period the winning twins will be announced and asked to report to the Section One corner where they will meet Chris and Peter Ferraro after the game.
Crunch Announce New York State Lottery Night: The Syracuse Crunch announced that Friday, February 11 will be New York State Lottery Night at the Crunch.
The first 500 fans, 18 and over, in attendance will receive a Lotto coupon courtesy of New York State Lottery. In addition, New State Lottery will put 50 logo stickers in Crunch Times, the official game night program of the Syracuse Crunch. Fans that purchase a program with the Lottery logo can bring their game night program to the New York State Lottery table to redeem a prize from the New York State Lottery.
Saturday, February 12:
Crunch Announce Details of Rescue Mission Night at the Crunch: The Syracuse Crunch announced that their Saturday, February 12 game against Cincinnati will be Rescue Mission Night at the Crunch.
The Rescue Mission will be at the Crunch's game on Saturday, February 12 to sell their Fight Hunger and Homelessness bracelets for $3. All proceeds will go to the Rescue Mission to help the needy in the Central New York community. In addition, any fan that brings in a pair of men's large gloves will receive a $10 ticket to the game (savings up to $6). All gloves will be donated to the Rescue Mission.
Crunch Announce Details of Turning Stone Fan Appreciation Night: The Syracuse Crunch announced that Saturday, February 12 will be Turning Stone Fan Appreciation Night at the Crunch.
All fans, over the age of 18, can bring their ticket stub from the Crunch's home game on Saturday, February 12 to the Diamond Card Registration desk for a choice of a $10 Meal Voucher, $10 Free Play Card, $10 Match Play Coupon or a Level 1 Bingo Coupon. Fans can redeem their February 12 ticket stub for up to five days after the game.

Kinney Drugs Puck Night Set For Friday, February 18: The Syracuse Crunch announced that Friday, February 18 will be Kinney Drugs Puck Night at the Crunch.
The first 1,000 fans in attendance that night will receive a Crunch puck, courtesy of Kinney Drugs.
In addition, any person that stops by a Kinney Drugs location will receive a discount coupon good for a $10 ticket (savings of up to $6) for the February 18 game against Binghamton, while supplies last.
Taco Bell Night Set For Friday, February 18: The Syracuse Crunch announced that the Friday, February 18 game against the Binghamton Senators is Taco Bell Night at the Crunch.
Local Taco Bell stores will serve as outlets for vouchers good for discounted tickets to Taco Bell Night at the Crunch, courtesy of Taco Bell.

He has missed seven games with the injury... Defenseman Andre Lakos is expected to miss one week with a back injury. He has missed five games with the injury. Defenseman Zenith Komarniski is expected to miss one week with a back injury. He has missed four games with the injury... Right wing Brandon Sugden is expected to miss four-to-five weeks with a thumb injury. He has missed 11 games with the injury. Through 48 games this season, Syracuse has lost 107 man-games due to injuries. Mark Hartigan's goal February 3 @ Cleveland was his 50th career AHL goal... Saturday, February 5 @ Cincinnati was the 15th time that Syracuse has played an overtime period this season, but it is only the fifth game to be decided in overtime.
