The Pirates will look to build on their three game winning-streak as they enter this week's games with a 20-22-3-4 record.

Jonas Johansson, Jakub Klepis and Owen Fussey have each scored a goal against the River Rats.

Saturday, February 12 @ Hartford 7:35 p.m.

Tomas Fleischmann has two goals and three assists against the Wolf Pack this season.

Monday, February 14 Watch Pirates defenseman Steve Eminger in the 2005 Dodge AHL All-Star Classic to air live on ESPN2 and Rodgers Sportsnet at 7:00 p.m.

Pirates goaltender Maxime Ouellet made 26 saves in the Pirates 1-0 loss to the Penguins back on 12/29/04 in Wilkes-Barre.

Saturday, February 19th vs. Providence 7:05 p.m. - Hannaford Thunder stick night! The first 3,000 fans will receive a set of thunder sticks courtesy of Hannaford Supermarkets.

Saturday, March 12th vs. Philadelphia 2:05 p.m. - Maine Credit Union League Team Photo Night. All fans will receive a 2004-05 Pirates team photo courtesy of the Maine Credit Union League.

The 8th Annual "Evening with the Pirates" presented by Key Bank will take place on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at The Stadium Restaurant and Sports Bar. This year's event will support the Pirates new exhibit at the Children's Museum of Maine opening next spring.

A reminder to all full and half season ticket holders who wish to redeem any unused tickets: Tickets can be redeemed at the Civic Center Box Office at any time. Replacement tickets for these games will be the best available within the original price range. The following games are redemption games for the 2004-2005 season:

February 17th vs. Wilkes-Barre Scranton 7:05 p.m.

March 3rd vs. Worcester 7:05 p.m.

April 8th vs. Manchester 7:05 p.m.

IN THE COMMUNITY

At Friday's game against Lowell, the VP 26 Tridents from Brunswick Naval Air Station donated $2,626.26 to the Red Cross for the Tsunami Relief Fund.

On Saturday February 5th, Pirates players Jean-Francois Fortin and Cam McCaffrey visited the Hannaford Supermarket in Topsham, ME with the WBLM "Street Team." The players signed autographs, took pictures with fans and gave away tickets and prizes every ten minutes.

On Wednesday, February 2, Pirates players Trent Whitfield, Brian Willsie and broadcaster Greg Glynn visited Village Elementary School in Gorham as part of the "Goals for Success" program sponsored by Maine Healthy Partnerships and Pepsi.

Also on Wednesday, the Pirates hosted two sixth grade classes from Lyman Moore Middle School in Portland as part of the Junior Achievement Job Shadow Day. The students were provided with tours of the Pirates front office on Congress Street as well as the Civic Center. Throughout the day the students talked with Pirates Head Coach Tim Army and staff and learned about operating a professional sports team.

Tomorrow, catch the Pirates Head Coach Tim Army on WJAB at 8:00 a.m. on the "The Morning Jab" on WJAB 95.5FM and 1440AM.

Wednesday, February 9th, Pirates defenseman Nolan Yonkman will join Dave and Michelle on 99.9FM "The Wolf" morning show at 7:30 a.m. Louis Robitaille is one of three finalists that have been chosen for WCYY 94.3FM's The Bachelorette. Bachelorette Amber will be choosing her Valentine's Day date this week on the air. Stay tuned to 94.3FM all week to see if Louis will be the winner.

Louis Robitaille will also be on WBLM 102.9FM this Friday at 8:00 a.m. with the Captain and Mark.

Listen every weekday at 7:20 a.m. and 4:20 p.m. for the "Voice of the Pirates" Greg Glynn with your Portland Pirates daily report on WJAB 95.5FM and 1440AM.

Portland Pirates team members Jean-Francois Fortin and Garret Stroshein will make a special appearance on Wednesday, February 16th at 4:00 p.m. at the Portland Harbor Hotel for the opening of its freshly carved outdoor ice bar. The hotel's courtyard Garden, where guests enjoy outdoor dining in the summer months, will be transformed into a winter wonderland. The ice bar, hand-carved by Jeff Landry, Executive Chef of Eve's restaurant, will be open Wednesday through Saturday 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. through the end of the month, or as long as temperatures allow.

On February 19, the Pirates will be at the Hannaford locations in Brunswick and in Saco from 12:30- 2:00 p.m. with the WBLM "Street Team." The players will be signing autographs and giving away tickets every ten minutes!

LAST WEEK

The Pirates went undefeated last week with a record of 2-0-0-0.

Friday, February 4th vs. Lowell (3-0 W)

Kirk Daubenspeck made 38 saves en route to the Pirates second consecutive shutout of the season.

Saturday, February 5th vs. Manchester (3-2 SOW)

Trent Whitfield scored the game-winning goal in the shootout against the Monarchs. In the game the Monarchs snapped Kirk Daubenspeck's shutout streak at 143:32 and ended his consecutive saves streak at 75.
