After a 3-2 win at Providence this past Friday, the Wolf Pack dropped back-to-back games. Last-place Springfield knocked off the Pack Saturday in Springfield by a score of 5-2, and the Wolf Pack were shut out Sunday at Lowell, losing by a 2-0 margin. The Pack have now lost four of their last five road games, after winning 14 of their previous 16 away from home. Jarkko Immonen tallied a goal and an assist in Friday's win, and Darin Olver, a second-round pick by the parent New York Rangers in the 2004 Draft out of Northern Michigan University, scored a goal in his pro debut Saturday. Chris Holt stopped 23 of the 24 shots he faced in his first AHL start of the year in Sunday's loss.
This week:
The Wolf Pack have another three-game weekend upcoming, starting with a home-ice battle against Worcester on Friday night (7:00 faceoff). The Pack then hit the road again, for games Saturday at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (7:05) and Sunday in Providence (4:05).
Tuesday, March 20th - "Wolf Pack Confidential" at Little Mark's Big Barbecue on ESPN Radio 1410
This week's edition of the Wolf Pack's weekly hour-long Tuesday-night talk show features newcomers Darin Olver and Dylan Reese as scheduled guests. Wolf Pack Confidential airs live from 7-8 PM from Little Mark's Big Barbecue, located at 279 West Main St. (Rt. 44) in Avon. Fans are invited to be on hand at Little Mark's for the show, and the guests will be taking questions from the live audience. The show can be heard live on ESPN Radio 1410 and on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com.
Friday, March 23rd vs. Worcester at the Hartford Civic Center, 7:00 p.m.
The Sharks currently sit three points out of a playoff spot in the Atlantic Division, with a record of 32-25-3-8 for 75 points. Coach Roy Sommer's club has won back-to-back games and four of its last five.
The Wolf Pack are 5-2-1-0 in the season series this year vs. San Jose's top affiliate, and are 2-1-1-0 in four home games against Worcester.
Sharks leading point-getter Mathieu Darche (31-36-67 in 64 GP) struck for 4-2-6 in three games last week, to move up to eighth in the AHL in points.
As is the case at every Friday night home game, the Wolf Pack and Rockville Bank will be giving away $1,000 during the "Go for the Green" promotion.
Friday night home games are Guida's Dairy Family Value Nights. Saturday, March 24th at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza), 7:05 p.m.
This is the second and final meeting of the season between the Wolf Pack and Penguins. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton blanked the Wolf Pack 4-0 in the first encounter, back on November 8th at the Hartford Civic Center.
With a record of 42-18-2-4 for 90 points, the Penguins stand third in the East Division, and third overall in the AHL.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's leading scorer, Robert Nilsson (13-42-55 in 57 GP), is currently on recall to Edmonton, but Jonathan Filewich leads the team with 25 goals, and has 49 points in 66 games.

Sunday, March 25th at Providence (Dunkin' Donuts Center Providence), 4:05 p.m.
This is the last of 10 meetings on the season between the Wolf Pack and Bruins. After Friday night's 3-2 win in Providence, the Wolf Pack are 5-4-0 in the series and have won three of the four games played in Providence.
The P-Bruins shut out division-leading Manchester 5-0 Sunday, to move to within one point of the second-place Wolf Pack in the Atlantic Division. Providence's current record is 38-26-1-3 for 80 points.
After the Wolf Pack held him scoreless Friday night, Bruins leading scorer David Krejci broke out for a goal and two assists in Sunday's win over Manchester. With 25-37-62 in 58 games on the year, Krejci ranks fourth among league rookies in points.

The Wolf Pack's third annual Sonar's "Edu-Skate" game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 28th at 11:00 a.m., as the Wolf Pack take on the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at the Hartford Civic Center. This educational school day game allows students to take an exciting and unique field trip to a Wolf Pack hockey game. The goal is to use hockey as a teaching tool for kids to learn about math, geography, science, fitness and more. All students and teachers will receive a Wolf Pack pencil and "Edu-Skate" workbook, containing questions and activities that will be carried out during the game. The game presentation will be geared to the educational aspect of the day, and during stoppages in play, players will answer questions, pose problems and provide information to the students on the JumboTron. Student group tickets for Sonar's "Edu-Skate" game are available at a special price of $9.00 per ticket. Concessions will be open with lunch specials for fans as well, including a Business Man's Lunch, which includes a hot dog or pizza slice and a small soda for $11.00. The promotion will feature eight contestants chosen through entry forms that can be filled out at Your Choice Auto, the Pack Shop and at home Wolf Pack games. Contestants will go through various shootouts between periods at upcoming Wolf Pack games until they are narrowed down to only two contestants. Those two contestants will then take part in a "Deal or No Deal" type of showdown at the March 31st game, where each contestant will try their luck at choosing three suitcases out of six, with one of the suitcases containing the keys to the car!
