The Iowa Stars begin this week just one point out of the fourth and final playoff spot in the West Division and three points
behind in the North Division. If the fifth place team in the West Division has more points than the fourth place team in the North
Division, that team will crossover and play their respective playoff games within the North Division.

Marius Holtet's hat-trick on Sunday was just the third regular season hat-trick and the fourth overall for the Stars in two
seasons. Mathias Tjarnqvist and Vojtech Polak had the other two, while Junior Lessard had one in Game Two of the
Playoffs last season. Dan Ellis improved to 9-2 against Texas-based teams, including a perfect 8-0 on the road: (5-0 in SAN, 3-
0 in HOU). He now has a career-best 23 wins and ranks fourth in the AHL based on total wins.
