The Wolf Pack posted a 1-3-0-0 record in four divisional games this past week. After a 6-3 home loss to Manchester on Wednesday, the Pack split a home-and-home series with Providence, dropping a 2-1 squeaker on the road Friday and coming back with a 6-2 triumph at the Hartford Civic Center on Saturday. The weekend concluded with a 3-2 loss to Lowell at home Sunday. New York Rangers 2003 first-round draftee Hugh Jessiman scored his first AHL points in Saturday's win, notching the game-winning goal and an assist, and Alexandre Giroux struck for 3-1-4 in the four games.
This week:
Another four-games-in-five-days divisional challenge faces the Wolf Pack this week. They will entertain Springfield Wednesday night at the Civic Center (7:00), then play home-and-home with Lowell, Friday night in Lowell (7:35) and Saturday evening in Hartford (7:00). The Pack then conclude a stretch in which they play seven out of nine games at home when they host Albany on Sunday (4:00).
Tuesday, January 24 - "Wolf Pack Confidential" at Little Mark's Big Barbecue
on ESPN Radio 1410
The Wolf Pack's weekly hourlong live radio show originates from Little
Mark's Big Barbecue, 279 West Main Street (Route 44) in Avon, from 7 to 8:00
p.m. Scheduled to join host Bob Crawford this week are Lee Falardeau and
Ivan Baranka. They will be taking questions from the live audience at
Little Mark's (all are invited), and the show can be heard on ESPN Radio
1410 and on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com.
Wednesday, January 25 vs. Springfield at the Hartford Civic Center, 7:00
p.m.
* The Falcons are currently sixth in the Atlantic Division
with a record of 16-21-2-4 for 38 points.
* The Wolf Pack are 2-1-1-0 on the season vs. Springfield, and
the Falcons have not been to the Hartford Civic Center since the Pack's
second game of the season, a 2-1 Springfield win October 14th.
* Jason Jaspers leads the Falcons in scoring with 16-23-39 in
42 games.
* As with all Wednesday-night home games, selected Wolf Pack
players will be conducting a free autograph session after the game in the
Lower Mezzanine area of the Civic Center.
* All members of the military and students who present their
respective i.d.'s at the Civic Center box office can purchase Red and Blue
Wolf tickets for half price. Adult tickets will be $8 and $10, with a limit
of four tickets per i.d..

Friday, January 27 at Lowell (Paul E. Tsongas Arena), 7:35 p.m.
* After Sunday's loss to the Lock Monsters in Hartford, the
Pack are 1-2-0-1 in the season series vs. Lowell.
* The Lock Monsters have at least a point in six of their last
seven games (3-1-3-0).
* Lowell's leading scorer, Keith Aucoin (17-32-49 in 42 GP),
was recalled to Carolina prior to Sunday's contest, but the Hurricanes
assigned Niklas Nordgren to Lowell in his place. Nordgren scored the
shorthanded game-winning goal against the Wolf Pack and had an assist.

Saturday, January 28 vs. Lowell at the Hartford Civic Center, 7:00 p.m.
* The Lock Monsters are 2-0-0-0 in two visits to Hartford this
season. Their first was October 15th, the Wolf Pack's third game of the
season, and Lowell won that tilt by a score of 3-2.
* Fans at this game will receive a #12 signature Ken Gernander

Sunday, January 29 vs. Albany at the Hartford Civic Center, 4:00 p.m.
* The River Rats currently stand seven points behind
sixth-place Springfield in the Atlantic, with a record of 14-26-1-2 for 31
points.
* Long-time NHL mainstays Alexander Mogilny (990 career NHL
GP) and Dan McGillis (634 games of NHL experience) are both currently on the
River Rats' roster.
* The Wolf Pack have won both previous games this year between
themselves and the Rats, 2-1 on November 4th in Albany and 7-2 at the Civic
Center November 23rd.

Pack Tracks:
On Monday, February 20th the Wolf Pack will be holding their 2006 "Tip-a-Player" Dinner and Sports Carnival, on the ice at the Hartford Civic Center. The event is presented by Aetna and benefits Gaylord Hospital. Dinner will be served by the Wolf Pack players, and the evening also features a silent auction, raffles and games, great food provided by area restaurants, and tours of the Wolf Pack locker room. The Wolf Pack's annual Kids' Club Day is coming up Sunday, February 12th from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hartford Civic Center. Members of the Wolf Pack Kids' Club, presented by Brigham's Ice Cream, can watch a Wolf Pack practice, meet the players and much more. Members will receive their player trading cards, plus other special gifts, at Kids' Club Day. All current members are invited to attend, and new members can register at the event and join in the fun.
The second annual "Sonar's Edu-Skate" game will take place Wednesday, March 22nd, when the Wolf Pack host the Manchester Monarchs at the Hartford Civic Center. Special faceoff time is 11:00 am. All school groups can attend this game for the special price of $8.00 per ticket. Join the Wolf Pack for interactive learning about health, geography, math...and more. The Hartford Wolf Pack "Pack Shop", located at 100 Allyn Street in downtown Hartford, is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, as well as two hours prior to and one hour after each and every Wolf Pack home game, including Saturday and Sundays. A full line of Wolf Pack merchandise is available, while a limited selection of items will still be available in the Civic Center Mall before games.
