
Star's Lessard Named to All-Star Team

DES MOINES, IA - The American Hockey League (AHL) today announced roster changes for the 2006 RBK Hockey AHL All-Star Classic at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba from Jan. 31 - Feb. 1st. The list of additions included Iowa Stars right wing Junior Lessard. Lessard will replace defenseman Matt Greene, currently on recall with Edmonton, as Iowa's representative at this year's Classic. On Wednesday, February 1st at 8:00 PM (EST) the 2006 AHL All-Star Game will be televised live on Rogers Sportsnet (Canada) and NHL Center Ice (U.S.). A webcast on B2 Networks will also be available at www.theahl.com at no charge.
