Hartford, November 21, 2004: Hockey players traded goals and assists for strikes and spares at the fourth annual Bowl-A-Thon to support Eastern Connecticut Special Olympics today. The Hartford Wolf Pack teamed up with Special Olympic athletes, fans, families and friends and helped raise more than $28,000. More than 50 teams participated.

High-scorers for the Pack included Jeff Hamilton, Alexandre Giroux and Jeff MacMillan. "We look forward to this event every year," said Wolf Pack Captain Ken Gernander. "Raising money for Special Olympics and bowling with these athletes, their families and our fans makes for a great day for everyone. These athletes exemplify the meaning of the word team spirit."
