
Masse buries Rats in overtime 4-3

HERSHEY rallied late from a 3-2 deficit to defeat Albany in overtime 4-3 at GIANT Center. David Masse scored the game-tying and game-winning goals to lead the way.
The BEARS scored first with the second goal in three games for Carl Corazzini at 1:27 of the first period. Albany then scored three straight goals to take a 3-1 lead before Brett Clark scored in the second period. With the score at 3-2 late in the third, Masse scored an unassisted goal to tie the game and send it to overtime. He then won the game with a rebound goal in overtime on the power play. Tom Lawson earned the win in net, his second of the season.
The BEARS registered a season-high 42 shots on goal, including a season-high 18 in the second period. HERSHEY now hosts Springfield Wednesday at GIANT Center at 7:30 p.m.
