The Falcons, in turn, assigned center Jarrod Skalde to Utah. The Falcons also announced today the signing of left wing Derek Bekar.

Jaspers returns to Springfield where he played his previous three seasons. The 23-year-old recorded three assists in 11 games with the Grizzlies this season. Jaspers posted 105 points (45g, 60a) – 10th most on the Falcons' all-time list - and 168 PIM in 192 games with the Falcons during his first three campaigns as a pro. Jaspers will not play tonight versus the Hartford Wolf Pack, but is expected to arrive in time to skate in tomorrow's game against the Binghamton Senators.
