
Wolf Pack Assign Andrew Carroll to ECHL

HARTFORD, October 4, 2013: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack has loaned forward Andrew Carroll to its ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Road Warriors.
Carroll, who signed an AHL contract with the Connecticut Whale April 4, 2013, skated in 24 AHL games with the Whale this past season, scoring one goal and adding four assists for five points and serving 40 minutes in penalties. The 6-0, 205-pound Carroll also played 36 ECHL contests in 2012-13 for the Idaho Steelheads, with totals of 12-19-31 and 45 PIM. In 15 postseason games with Idaho, the fourth-year pro scored three goals and chipped in five assists for eight points, and had 17 PIM.
In 148 career AHL games-played with the Wolf Pack/Whale, Abbotsford Heat, Peoria Rivermen and Hershey Bears, Carroll, a product of the University of Minnesota-Duluth, has amassed totals of five goals and 14 assists for 19 points, as well as 250 penalty minutes. In 115 career ECHL contests with the Steelheads, Charlotte Checkers and Greenville Road Warriors, the Shoreview, MN native has scored 52 goals and added 41 assists for 93 points, while amassing 155 PIM.
The Wolf Pack opens its 2013-14 regular season tomorrow night, Saturday, October 5, at the XL Center against the Norfolk Admirals. Faceoff for that game is 7:00, and the full 2013-14 Wolf Pack regular season schedule can be viewed at www.hartfordwolfpack.com.
