
Wolf Pack and Worcester Sharks Set to Battle in First Playoff Round

HARTFORD, April 11, 2009: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today the schedule of dates for the Wolf Pack's first-round Calder Cup playoff series.
The Atlantic Division regular-season-champion Wolf Pack will battle the fourth-place Worcester Sharks in a best-of-seven series, with the Wolf Pack having home-ice advantage.
The first two games will be at the XL Center in Hartford, this Thursday, April 16 and Saturday, April 18, with faceoff at 7:00 both nights. The series then shifts to the DCU Center in Worcester for Games Three and Four, Monday, April 20 and Wednesday, April 22. Those games will both face off at 6:35. If a Game Five is necessary, it will be in Hartford Thursday, April 23 at 7:00. A potential Game Six would be Saturday, April 25 in Worcester, facing off at 7:05, and if the series goes the full seven games, the deciding seventh game would be played Monday, April 27 at the XL Center (7:00).
