AHL announces suspension
April 11, 2009 - American Hockey League (AHL) News Release
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Norfolk Admirals defenseman Mike Knight has been suspended for one (1) game as a result of his actions in a game at Binghamton on Apr. 10.
Knight was assessed an instigator penalty within the final five minutes of the third period, resulting in an automatic one-game suspension under AHL Rule 47.21.
Knight will miss Norfolk's game tonight (Apr. 11) at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
